“Even though we were forced to cancel our graduation ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic, I still wanted to find a way to have an memorable event for the graduates. We decided to hold a picnic in Central Park, but I wanted to make sure the catering was still upscale - not just a sandwich and chips. Alexandra was very interested in matching our vision for the event. She came up with several options for food that would look fancy and be safe to serve at ambient temperature. When I requested a few modifications she was happy to make tweaks to the menu. On the evening of the event Alexandra and her team went above and beyond to deliver the food into the center of the park. The presentation was simply gorgeous and everything tasted delicious. “Having Alexandra as our wedding caterer was a blessing for many reasons. Firstly, the process of finding the right caterer online was very messy. But as soon as I saw Alexandra’s work, I knew I found the person I was looking for. She cares deeply about the products she uses, and thinks about the entire culinary experience, from the taste, to the textures, colors, and presentation.

Her food was excellent and many of our guests told us it was the best they ever had at a wedding. We rented a townhouse with an open kitchen, so we could see Alexandra and her team at work which we loved. The main dish was fish-based and we didn’t smell anything during the preparation. We also loved her staff that all added to the positive vibe of the night.

Alexandra is an excellent cook and an even better manager, she made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. I was even able to take a nap in one of the rooms before our guests’ arrival as I knew everything was taken care of. Once I came back downstairs, I saw everything was ready and she had added a personal touch with custom-designed menus and an eucalyptus branch on each plate.

“We had our anniversary celebration with AD Catering and Events.
They presented the most delicious, beautiful, instagram-able food;
the most professional, friendly and fun staff;
and the process is complete stress-free, everything is just simply AMAZING!
My husband and I were blown away. And our guests were beyond impressed. They all asked how did I find AD and asked for their information!

The process was so easy and consultative. Alex sat down with us to go through all the details and wish lists for our anniversary event. She was extremely patience to listen to all our needs and provided very practical recommendations with regard to the selection of food. It saved so much time and energy on our side to figure out all the combinations of hors d’oeuvre, appetizers, and the larger entree.
During the day of the event, Alex and her team took care of EVERYTHING. They were there early in the space that we had rented out for preparation, helped us set up the flowers with our own florist, the bartender was there to set up the wine station, the cheese station was decorated alongside with the flowers. Service was great too. Everything was presented in such a professional level that we thought we are in a Michelin star restaurant. We did not have to break a sweat to check on anything, unlike many events that we had hosted before.
Most importantly, the food was AWESOME. Go for the salmon macaron! It’s something that you typically would not think to work together but just surprisingly delicious. The chicken burger was definitely a highlight as well, I have to admit I had three. And cheese and charcuterie station was everyone’s favorite pairing with the different wines we brought along. When it comes to desert, the popsicles certainly popped our minds.
We would highly recommend Alex to our friends and family for future events that they are looking to host. She is by-far the best team that we had worked with. It was such well-received by every single guest we had, and we are two very happy hosts.”
